American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) has introduced a second full package for the Ford Super Duty pickup, focusing on a 37-inch tire configuration. The new offering, called the FX370, follows the earlier FXL model but targets a slightly different segment of the market with its tire size and price point.
The FX370 vs. The FXL
The FX370 is built around 37-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K03 tires. This size is significantly smaller than the 40-inch rubber used on the FXL, which AEV describes as the “bigness” of the difference between the two models. The suspension system remains a four-inch DualSport setup with Bilstein dampers, and both trucks feature winch-compatible AEV stamped steel bumpers on the front and high-clearance bumpers on the rear.
While the tire size is the primary distinction, the exterior graphics packages are nearly identical. The only difference is the package name printed on the rear of the bedsides. Inside, the cabin features AEV-embroidered headrests matching the exterior branding.
Because the four-inch lift and wheel-well tweaks provide enough clearance for the 37-inch tires, the FX370 does not require the sheetmetal surgery found on the FXL. The FXL uses HighMark fender flares that need to be installed, but the FX370 can run without them. The FX370 also uses 18-inch Salta wheels instead of the beadlock-capable Katmai wheels found on the FXL, though AEV has not yet confirmed if larger wheel options will be available.

AEV says it will begin production of the FX370 in October. The package starts at $19,999 before options, which is $6,000 less than the FXL. This price makes the FX370 an entry-level option for those wanting a substantial off-road build without committing to the extreme dimensions of the FXL.
Off-road enthusiasts often debate whether larger tires always equate to better performance. While the FXL offers maximum clearance with its 40-inch tires, the FX370 provides a middle ground that might appeal to drivers who want serious capability without the extreme ride height or cost of the larger model. The AEV suspension is designed to handle the weight of a Super Duty chassis, which is a major factor in why these packages work so well for heavy-duty trucks.
Availability and Pricing
Customers can pre-order the FX370 package now. Pricing for the package alone is $19,999, excluding the cost of the base Ford Super Duty truck. The FXL remains AEV’s top-tier offering, but the FX370 serves as a more accessible alternative for those who want a high-quality upfit.
